An actual text is not only all reader’s interpretation or all writer’s intention. The documented response of real readers has often been thought to mirror the cultural norms or codes of a given era. Different readers will decide to fill in the various gaps in different ways, allowing for inexhaustible realizations of the text within its provided interpretive limits.
